After obtaining the final building permit for the reconstruction of the Máj department store at the end of 2021, our project management department launched a tender for the general contractor. The investor plans to start the reconstruction in May 2022 so that the department store will be ready for Christmas shopping in 2023. The investor and owner of the building is the company Máj Národní a.s. within the holding Amadeus Real.
OM Consulting provides complete management of this project. The services provided include project management, cost management, technical supervision of the investor, consultancy in the field of technical equipment of buildings and coordination of safety on site. We are also preparing for the preparation of Technical Due Diligence for the anchor tenant food service unit.
In addition to the underground supermarket, a shopping gallery on the first floor and a food court on the second floor, the reconstructed Máj department store will also offer a number of new features and customers have a lot to look forward to. The total gross floor area of the department store is 26,000 sqm, the planned lettable area is 16,000 sqm.
