The year 2022 brought OM Consulting a record turnover, which we are very pleased about. But what we are particularly committed to is the relationship with our clients, with whom we work on a wide range of activities in different phases of their projects.
What we are very happy about is the fact that three projects in which we participated have been placed on the podium in the 24th year of the Best of Realty competition. It recognises projects that significantly represent the achievements and capabilities of developers and their partners.
Residence Molo Lipno took gold
The first place in the category of larger residential projects went to the Residence Molo Lipno in Lipno nad Vltavou by Realactiva/Investika, which includes an amazing restaurant with a unique foundation on the water surface. MOLO Lipno won the public award in the category of Best Project in the South Bohemia Region in the Real Estate Project of the Year 2018 competition before construction began, and a year later it won the Architects and Public Award in the South Bohemia Region in the Real Estate Project of the Year 2019 competition.
We have been involved in this project from the very beginning, starting with the technical DD for the land acquisition, through securing the selection of Chapman &Taylor as architect, managing the cost, managing the project, securing a change to the building permit, selecting the general contractor, and controlling the construction execution and cost. The complete project management of the construction works was the responsibility of the OM Consulting team led by Ing. Václav Tichý.
Maison Ořechovka residential project wins the Readers’ Choice Award
The Readers’ Choice Award went to the second phase of Maison Ořechovka in Prague 6 by Penta Real Estate. For this residential project, we provided comprehensive construction management services in the form of construction management, including cost planning, contractor selection, construction and schedule management, quality control and occupational health and safety.
Novo plaza got second place
In the shopping centre category, the second place award went to Novo plaza in Prague 4 by developer Bluehouse. We were involved in the design phase of the complete reconstruction of the centre, providing cost management, project management, TDI and HSE services.
If you are interested in the details, the renovation of the Novo Plaza shopping centre arcade included renaming the centre to NOVO PLAZA and transforming the entire architectural concept into a more modern look. The shopping centre has received a new exterior facade: the colours and wall cladding have been changed, and the entrance has also been redesigned and now features a light structure.
The construction works in the arcade itself included moving the escalators and reconstructing the sanitary facilities, and a co-working zone was created for the greater comfort of visitors. The food court has also been modified and the interior furniture in the public areas has been changed. The new fresh look of the shopping centre is in line with the modern industrial concept, which was also achieved, for example, by replacing the lighting and adding LED strips to the ceilings. This also results in energy savings.
A whole team of specialists including experts in fit-out, technology and project management participated in the reconstruction on behalf of OM Consulting.
