How the construction works on TULIP KARLÍN were carried out

We have worked with AFI Europe on the AFI Home Karlín (formerly Tulipa Karlín) project from the very beginning. We have thus witnessed the creation of a modern complex with apartments, offices and commercial space. Read how Tulipa Karlín gradually turned into reality!

Finished piles and installation of the first crane

The pilot establishment of the Tulipa Karlín project is complete. On the construction site, the general contractor IMOS BRNO has just erected the first of two cranes and is starting work on the foundation slab. The developer of the project is the Israeli company AFI Europe, for which OM Consulting is providing project management, cost management and quality management.

TULIPA KARLÍN is located in Prague at the corner of Thámova and Pernerova streets in Karlin. The project consists of five buildings and will offer 172 rental apartments, office and retail space. It was scheduled for completion in June 2022.

The entire OM Consulting team is led and protected by Ing. Vojtěch Jeníš. He works closely with his colleagues from the price management and TDI departments, and the close cooperation of all experts is crucial for the success of the contract and means significant added value for the client.

Tulipa Karlín moves to the next phase

The foundation slab of the Tulipa Karlín project is ready. In recent weeks, earthworks have been completed and the second tower crane has been erected. At the same time, work on the monolithic structures is being carried out to the maximum extent possible.

Despite the pandemic situation, construction work is proceeding in accordance with the approved schedule and in compliance with the applicable anti-epidemic measures, and it is expected that the construction will be completed on time.

The OM Consulting team is led by experienced project manager Ing. Vojtěch Jeníš. In doing so, he works closely with colleagues and specialists in cost management and technical supervision of the investor, and their daily contact and cooperation are crucial for the successful implementation of the contract.

In the coming months, we are expecting work on monolithic structures, reconstruction of existing buildings, disturbance and implementation of new utilities and the start of HVAC.

And we continue the Tulipa Karlín project! The monolithic construction was completed

The monolithic construction of the Tulipa Karlín apartment building (now AFI Home Karlín) is complete. Work is currently underway on the façade, roof structure and fitting of the hole fillers. Internal installations, flooring, plastering and tiling are carried out.

The project is expected to be completed in 2. quarter of 2023.
