Architectural study for family houses in Hostivice

The architectural study for a residential development in Hostivice, west of Prague, was prepared by our Design & Architecture team under the leadership of experienced architect Karol Lakatos. The plot of 1 650 m² is intended for the construction of a family house of two residential units. The terrain in the locality slopes down to the banks of the Jenečský Brook.

The creative effort was to keep the urban scale and respect the character of the existing buildings. The houses have simple shapes with gable roofs, the ridges of which are oriented transversely to the street. Great emphasis was placed on creating privacy for each housing unit. An interesting element is the work with the sloping terrain, which offers space for the creative potential of the designers.
