Mercedes-Benz After-Sales Logistics Center
Services provided:

The warehouse hall area of approx. 462,000 sqm, including accompanying buildings and necessary infrastructure, was designed by developer CTP Invest for client Mercedes-Benz. The carmaker planned to set up a “Mercedes Benz After-Sales Logistic Center” here. In its global network, the complex was to serve a function of a hub of a kind, that means a central warehouse and after-sales logistics centre. In addition to the goods warehouse, it was also to be the centre for the implementation of the management functions of global logistics. The centre was also to store an assortment that does not depend on how a part is marketed – e.g. strategic spare parts inventory after the series ends.
The OM Consulting team provided the client with project management and cost management services. The project was terminated in the preparatory phase because the developer did not obtain a ZPF exemption for the land to be developed.
