In the case of the DOCK IN 02 building, it is the second office building of the successful DOCK IN development project in Prague – Libeň. The building offers approximately 8,500 sqm of space combining offices, shops and underground parking for 85 cars and creates a significant landmark in the area of the former shipyards. With its original shape designed by Schindler Seko architects and its unique cascading shape and terraces of over 350 sqm, each of the floors has its own outdoor space with a direct view of the marina and the quiet zone around the two dead-end arms of the Vltava River.
DOCK IN 03 is a seven-storey office complex with an undulating facade and a total of 180 sqm of terraces. The facade is composed of continuous horizontal parapet strips in a black and white combination. Between the parapet strips are inserted windows made of profiles of lightweight perimeter cladding. Thanks to the geometry of the facade’s folding, terraces are created along the entire length, which articulate the facade and bring it an additional function. The new L-shaped building offers a total of 15,000 sqm of lettable office space and a further 1,500 sqm of commercial space for restaurants and services. The project also includes a hectare-long relaxation park in the neighbourhood, a jogging track and a footbridge that directly connects the entire site to the Libeň Bridge. The building has three basement floors, which are used for parking, technical and warehouse facilities. The building was designed to receive the prestigious LEED Gold global certification for sustainable projects.
