Michal Mühlbauer

Michal Mühlbauer is the managing director of OM Consulting and one of the founders of the company. He has many years of experience in the construction industry, both in the Czech Republic and abroad. Thansk to his knowledge of the international environment, he is able to work closely with both Czech and foreign investors. Michal’s project management experience is in all segments of commercial and residential construction. He enjoys complex projects and projects in industrial construction, logistics and residential projects.

Prior to founding OM Consulting, he worked both on the construction contractor side as a project manager and on the client side as a senior project manager. He participated in the realization of the following projects:
the Mrázovka tunnel, the Clarion Hotel and convention centre in Olomouc, the Hill’s Pet Nutrition factory in the Czech Republic and the USA, the Chinoin / Sanofi Aventis pharmaceuticals factory and the construction of the Citroën headquarters (both in Hungary).

He studied and worked in France, the USA and Hungary. He graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University at the Department of Structural Mechanics, majoring in Construction and Transportation Engineering and received a doctorate from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University and the Université Joseph Fourier in Grenoble, France.

In his spare time, he plays piano, guitar and bass guitar; he likes photography, sports and literature, and is a collector of old music mediums.
