He has worked in various positions at the property development companies ING RED and Skanska Property and previously also at the multinational chain Ahold. For several years he also worked in project management. His mission at OM Consulting is to continue developing the Project Management team.
Jan Kropáček worked for almost a decade at ING RED CR, where he managed the construction of residential and commercial projects not only in Prague, but also outside it, with a total volume of CZK 4 billion. These included the construction of the Nová Liboc Residential Complex, the Hanspaulka Residential Complex and the IGY Shopping Centre, České Budějovice. On these projects, he led the preparation of the projects from the very beginning, including budget management, management of cooperators to their implementation and preparation for subsequent sale.
At Skanska Property, he managed the construction of Retail Park Černý Most and Retail Park Čestlice, where he also coordinated the fit-out of their premises for tenants such as Dixons until their handover to individual tenants.
During his tenure at Ahold CR, he managed as a project manager the construction of hypermarkets in Prague, Průhonice, Liberec and Hradec Králové with a total area of 35,000m2.
During his business period he worked on luxury residential projects for individual investors, managed projects for MOL CR and as an external project manager managed the construction of the new campus of Charles University in Pilsen, UniMeC II.
He graduated from the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Czech Technical University in Prague. He speaks fluent English.
