Toyota Rehabilitation – Modernization of Rehabilitation Facilities for Employees

The Toyota Rehabilitation Project is part of a long-term partnership with Toyota Motor Manufacturing Czech Republic and focuses on modernizing the rehabilitation facilities on the plant grounds. The goal is to create a functional, comfortable, and well-equipped environment to support employee health.

The New Rehabilitation Center Through the Eyes of the Project’s Creator:

“The proposal calls for a comprehensive reorganization of the existing rehabilitation facilities with the goal of improving the quality of the environment, expanding therapeutic options, and optimizing operations without the need for a physical expansion of the building.”

The layout has been restructured into clearly defined zones—physical therapy, individual therapy, hydrotherapy, dry massage, and support facilities. The physical therapy area is divided into two separate sections; fixed partitions are installed between the treatment beds, and a discreet service corridor for staff has been created. This enhances patient privacy and improves the smooth flow of operations.”

About the Interior

The interior is undergoing a complete renovation of its surfaces, which unify the space into a clean, contemporary whole. The material concept uses neutral, natural tones to create a calm, therapeutic environment.

The flooring combines durable vinyl in dry areas and ceramic tile in wet areas. New suspended ceilings with integrated lighting ensure a clean and functional look. The furniture is designed to be simple, durable, and sustainable, with an emphasis on visual lightness.
