Reconstruction of Hotel Alcron *****

We are pleased to present our successful cooperation on the reconstruction of a five-star hotel in the heart of Prague for our client CROWN-WSF spol. s r.o. This challenging project, which we completed in March 2023, was one of our top construction achievements and brought a significant transformation not only to the hotel itself, but also to its entire atmosphere.

Scope of reconstruction

The renovation included a complete refurbishment of more than 200 hotel rooms and a number of other improvements to the public areas. In addition to the room upgrades, we created a new café on the ground floor and opened the original restaurant to a new space concept. There are also plans for the creation of a Roof Top Bar, which will in the future offer guests an unforgettable view of Prague city centre and add an attractive element to the hotel for the general public.

The challenge of reconstruction in full operation

The renovation was carried out while the hotel was fully operational, which presented a significant challenge that we managed with precision and efficiency. We completed the project without a general contractor, which allowed us to have full control over every step. Our role was to ensure the smooth coordination and management of the entire construction process, including change sheet administration, quality control, contractor coordination and construction schedule.

Construction management and project management

We were involved in the project as part of construction management, which included not only managing and controlling the quality of all the work, but also ensuring proper coordination between the various contractors and design teams. Our priority was to maintain the highest standards of work safety and to communicate constantly with the architects and designers to ensure that every detail matched the original concept and client’s ideas.

Thanks to this careful coordination and our commitment to excellence, the project has become a showcase of our ability to handle even the most complex tasks and deliver outstanding results.
