CPI Retail Park Teplice – modern and sustainable retail zone

CPI Retail Park Teplice is a newly built shopping complex that naturally complements the existing shopping centre in Teplice. The project is being built in the city district of Srbice, in a location with challenging conditions but also high development potential.

Construction-technical solution

  • Single-storey prefabricated building with reinforced concrete prefabricated skeleton
  • Pile foundation: the structure is located on a former wetland and requires deep foundation using drilled piles
  • Scope of HPP:
    • Retail park: 8 316 m²
    • Burger King: 300 m²
  • Total construction costs: approx. 500 miles. CZK
  • Implementation: 1Q/2024 – 1Q/2026

The project also includes the complete construction of utilities, access roads, parking lots and public space with greenery.

Emphasis on sustainability and climate

The investor CPI Property Group places a high emphasis on ecology and sustainable development. The project in Teplice therefore includes a number of smart and environmentally friendly solutions with regard to the deteriorating climate conditions:

  • Green extensive roof: reduces overheating, retains water and supports biodiversity
  • Photovoltaic panels: placed on the roof, they contribute to energy self-sufficiency
  • Heat pumps as the main source of heating
  • Modern R32 refrigerant in air conditioners – up to 78% lower emissions compared to the commonly used R410A
  • Direct evaporative heat shields instead of conventional electric ones – lower energy consumption
  • Bird boxes and bumblebees installed on the roof to support local fauna
